I figure what better way to start off the first day of Summer, than to share my Summer scent of choice. This year, it's definitely the VS pink sunkissed. It's a mixture of vanilla and coconut water. It's a nice, light scent, that isn't too heavy, yet the scent stays with you all day. It gives you that tropical scent of coconut, mixed with a light vanilla, that reminds me of being at the beach. As an added bonus, it also has tiny flecks of glitter in the body lotion, so it makes your skin glow and look a little sparkly, but it's very subtle, so it doesn't look like you've doused yourself with glitter. It looks especially great on tanned skin. Giving you that golden summer glow. I got these on sale 2 for $25 last month, and instantly decided this would be the perfect Summer scent. My former favorite was bath & body works coconut mango, but sadly it was discontinued. This however, is a great replacement!

New hair color
I recently dyed my hair using Loreal healthy look creme gloss in 6RR vibrant light auburn. I've used the healthy look creme gloss line once before in a different shade (6RR dark auburn/black currant) and really loved it. It didn't dry my hair out, it was easy to use, and the color turned out to be a really pretty dark burgundy color in my hair. This time, I wanted to go with the line again, since I had such good results the first time, but thought i'd try another red. This one definitely didn't turn out as red or noticeable as the last color, but i do still like it. I liked the last color I used better, however...my natural color being such a dark brown, can be very difficult. It's hard to find shades that actually show up in my hair. I didn't realize this particular color is for "light to medium brown" hair, which is why it isn't as prominent as the last color I used, which is actually for dark hair. (go figure, right?) I definitely get points here for paying attention. Anyway, the color is still pretty, though more subtle, and it being a semi-permanent, will wash out in a couple of months, and I can go back to the original color I tried. For any interested in this color, here are the results I got.
I definitely recommend this line of hair dye. The colors are nice and long lasting for a semi permanent. Actually lasted longer than the box said it would. It seems pretty gentle. As I stated before, this did not dry out my hair at all, and it did look shiny after. It's also very affordable. I paid $6 at walgreens with a sale.
I myself, do prefer semi permanent dyes, as I hate the look of permanent hair color fading. (the roots growing in drive me insane.) whereas, the semi permanent just slowly fades overtime with each shampoo. I also like to mix it up, and try different shades and the semi permanents give me more of an opportunity to do so.
If you've thought about this line or have been thinking of trying a semi perm. dye, I would highly recommend giving the healthy look line a try.
